Biography

Amie comes to the NHLRA with a background in elementary education and social and corporate event management. As the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation, Amie leads the organization’s strategic plan with a focus on secondary, post-secondary, and continuing education, job training and workforce development, and underserved communities. She is also the Hospitality Sector Advisor for the state’s Sector Partnership Initiative to identify industry needs and collaborate on opportunities for education and services to help grow a skilled workforce for New Hampshire’s hospitality industry. With a concentration on both the next generation of hospitality industry leaders and the current workforce through a variety of different programs, Amie is active in several Career & Technical Education Centers’ Program Advisory Boards and the NH Apprenticeship Steering Committee as well as a Governor-appointed member of the Department of Corrections Community Corrections Citizens Advisory Board.
