The owners of Tuckaway Tavern and Backyard Brewery have joined forces to build a 25,000-square-foot building between McDonald’s and T-Bones on Crystal Avenue in Derry.
The new place will be branded Grindhouse Meat Co. and Backyard Brewery and Tasting Room with a shared dining hall.

PORTSMOUTH — The city's Historic District Commission approved a plan to allow the popular Martingale Wharf Restaurant and Bar to expand its outdoor deck, while also creating a new public deck space.
Architect Jeremiah Johnson, who represented developer and restaurant owner Mark McNabb at Wednesday’s HDC meeting, said the plans call for adding a 32-foot by 52-foot deck extension to expand the restaurant’s outdoor use, while building a 15-foot by 21-foot “ADA compliant public access deck for any and all to enjoy.”

MANCHESTER, N.H. — A new survey conducted by the National Restaurant Association shows the COVID-19 pandemic may still have a tight grip on the restaurant industry. Many New Hampshire businesses continue to struggle with challenges like staffing and patron attendance.
Some restaurants in the Granite State are doing better than they were before the pandemic. But, others are still struggling and said it could take months until things get back to normal.
