The New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association held a year-long celebration to honor the 100th anniversary of the founding of our association. 2019 was a defining year for the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association, which offered an opportunity to reflect on the association’s successes and prepare for a new century of growth and industry engagement. To commemorate its centennial year, the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association held a series of events aimed at celebrating the enduring values that formed the heart of the association.
CENTENNIAL SUNSET CRUISE
As we continued to celebrate the NHLRA's 100th year, we held a Centennial Sunset cruise aboard the Winnipesaukee Belle on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. This memorable and relaxing lake experience hosted 50 guests and attendees enjoyed live music from Brad Bosse and passed hors d'oeuvres from The Wolfeboro Inn. Each guest received gift cards from The Common Man Family, Fratello's Ristorante Italiano, Great New Hampshire Restaurants, The Friendly Toast and The Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery.
CENTENNIAL SUNSET CRUISE PHOTOS
To launch the NHLRA's Centennial Year, we held a VIP tasting event at the Copper Door in Salem, on Monday, February 4, 2019. This private event hosted 150 guests from 6pm - 8pm. Attendees were treated to hors d'oeuvrers from eight featured local chefs. Samplings of wine, beer and liquor was offered. A portion of all proceeds went to FEEDNH.org to strengthen New Hampshire communities through philanthropic collaboration, dedicated employee involvement and volunteerism benefiting local families, the elderly, education, and disadvantaged. Another portion of proceeds went to the NHLRA Education Foundation which works to develop the next generation of industry leaders and strengthen the skills and opportunities in the industry’s current workforce.
