Updated Quarantine Form We've updated the Statement of Health and Quarantine for lodging properties to reflect Governor Sununu's removal of the quarantine requirement for New England residents. AHLEI COVID-19 Course Demonstrates Cleaning, Safety Guidelines for Hotel Reopening As the economy reopens and travelers begin to visit hotels once more, properties must be prepared to meet the new health and safety challenges presented by COVID-19. To assist, the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) recently launched COVID-19 Precautions for Hotels, an online course created to help hotels train their staffs on safety and cleanliness guidelines developed for the industry by the American Hotel & Lodging Association. The course is a training companion to the Safe Stay initiative, an industry-wide, enhanced health and safety protocol designed to prepare America’s hotels to safely welcome back guests and employees as the economy reopens. The guidelines have been endorsed by hospitality leaders and public health experts in all 50 states and Canada, and focus on cleaning and sanitizing, employee health, physical distancing, personal hygiene, and mitigation of virus transmission. TripAdvisor's New "Travel Safe" Tool Tripadvisor recently launched new “Travel Safe” tools to help businesses easily highlight all the steps they’re taking (sanitation procedures, mask-wearing guidelines, social distancing policies, etc.) to ensure the safety of their guests. For the 460M+ monthly Tripadvisor users browsing the 8.7M businesses listed on Tripadvisor, these features can ease their minds as they begin to venture out again. The new tool includes:
