All NHLRA members are allowed up to a thirty (30) minute phone call per unique incident, issue or matter, assuming no professional conflicts. Christopher T. Vrountas is the president of Vrountas, Ayer & Chandler, P.C., a law firm with substantial experience representing restaurants throughout New England. The firm has offices in Manchester and Boston, and serving local and national restaurant clients across the country in litigation and commercial matters of all sorts. Mr. Vrountas has been in law practice for over 20 years and has substantial experience in matters involving the restaurant business including employment discrimination and wage claims, covenants not to compete, food safety, menu labeling, intellectual property matters, and other business disputes. He has appeared before various state and federal civil rights commissions and departments of labor nationally and has tried employment and commercial matters on behalf of businesses in both state and federal courts. Legislative Services

The NHLRA retains a full time Lobbyist in Henry Veilleux of Sheehan of Phinney Capitol Group. Henry works closely with the Board of Directors and the Government Affairs Committee to develop strategies for opposing potentially harmful legislation and working to see supportive legislation passed.

Henry has been lobbying in New Hampshire for 22 years. He has been New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association's lobbyist since 1999. He is our eyes and ears in the New Hampshire Legislature and works closely with the Governor's Office and state agencies. Henry prepares our weekly legislative update that is e-mailed to members.
