Founder Jill Robbins, mother of a child with food allergies, and clinical psychologist, started HomeFree so that everyone can be included when snacks and desserts are offered. Research reported in Pediatrics in June, 2011 indicates that 1 in 13 U.S. children now have food allergies, a number that continues to grow.
