Member benefits include:
Any independent restaurant, chain restaurant, bar/nightclub, quick/counter service restaurant, inn, bed & breakfast, independent hotel or motel, chain hotel or motel, resort, golf club or travel industry business is eligible to apply for membership. All membership applicants are subject to ratification by the Board of Directors, and all applicants must agree to abide by the NHLRA Constitution and By-Laws, posted here.
Membership dues are assessed on an annual basis and are based on the prior year's gross sales for your property.
Multiple Properties: Dues are based on combined gross sales of all locations.
Golf Clubs: Dues are based on Food & Beverage Sales only.
Quick Service Restaurant: Any restaurant with 10 or fewer staff.
National Restaurant Association: Membership with the National Restaurant Association (NRA) is automatically provided for all properties providing food service.
Lodging establishments with 51 or more rooms: Membership with the NHLRA requires membership with the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA). AH&LA dues are $3 per room.
