|NHLRA Education Foundation|
Cultivating our next generation of hospitality professionals.
Founded in 2010, the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NHLRAEF) financially supports hospitality-related initiatives. From scholarships to conferences to state competitions, the Foundation supports the education of our current and future workforce by financially contributing to education opportunities.
NHLRAEF Areas of Focus:
The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program (HTMP) is a school-to-career program developed by the American Hotel and Lodging Association Educational Institute (AH&LAEF). HTMP is designed to introduce high school juniors and seniors to careers in the hospitality industry. Through classroom activities, internships and comprehensive exams, students have the chance to earn national certification.
The NHLRA is proud to announce that the state of NH currently has six schools participating in the HTMP program.

From culinary techniques to management skills, ProStart's industry-driven curriculum provides real life experience opportunities, builds practical skills and creates a foundation that will last a lifetime. By bringing together the industry and the classroom, ProStart gives students a platform to discover new interests and talents to open doors for fulfilling careers. It happens through a curriculum that includes all facets of the industry and sets a high standard of excellence for students.
The NHLRA is proud to announce that the state of NH currently has twelve schools participating in the ProStart program.

Recognizing the high cost of education, the Foundation offers scholarships to high school students and full-time college students majoring in a hospitality related field.
More information regarding available scholarships for the 2016/2017 Academic Year will be posted shortly.
