Fisk adds flair to M/S Mt. Washington menu

Kevin Fisk started off his career in the food industry as a dishwasher in a Chinese food restaurant, but over time, he has become an esteemed chef with a famous crab cake recipe that he has brought along with him as head chef and director of food operations for the M/S Mount Washington.

Fisk came on last September as the chef for the Mount Washington, and started full-time in his capacity this past January. He has a love for New England-style seafood, but due to his ample experience in the food industry all around the country, he adds what he has learned from other chefs in other areas along the way.

“I’m kind of revamping things and bringing a little more flair to the menu,” said Fisk. “I also hope to rearrange the kitchen in the winter.”

Fisk grew up in Milford, but vacationed in Moultonborough, where he now resides. He graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 1986, where he received his bachelor’s degree in hotel restaurant management. He then worked at Stouffer’s Restaurant in Princeton, N.J., and was transferred down to Virginia to another restaurant owned by Nestle. He later worked in Washington, D.C., where he started working for Marriott around the Northeast area. Read more at the citizen.com.
