'Bistro-style' eatery planned for Exeter
'Renowned' mystery chef to partner with Exeter Inn
By Erik Hawkins

A high-end “bistro-style” restaurant with a mystery “renowned” chef is planned for downtown.

Agostinho Nunes, co-owner of the nine-room bed and breakfast-style Inn by the Bandstand, said Wednesday that for the two-and-a-half years he has labored over restoring the historic building along with his business partners, he has struggled to make the endeavor financially successful.

Nunes plans to change this by partnering with a restaurant that will take up the space abutting his inn at 4 Front Street, serving his guests as well as the community at-large.

“(We are) very excited to bring in a new venue to downtown historic Exeter. We hope to make the inn more of a destination by also offering a dining venue to facilitate our guests not having to travel outside of the inn,” he said. “But also, we are looking at the vision for downtown Exeter and to increase foot traffic in bringing more people to the area.” Read more from the seacoastonline.com.
