Discussions about the future of tipping
in restaurants may have reached what can only be called a tipping point,
now that some high-profile restaurants in New York City will do away
with the practice, but don’t expect to see eatery tabs in Concord
eliminate the tip line any time soon.
That is a good thing, according to folks
involved on both sides of the exchange, judging from a casual survey
that mostly consisted of talking to servers at Cheers Bar and Grill in
